Rising  Readers

Led by SLP, Maddi Leier this four day camp is designed to give your child a “boost” in their reading skills over the summer. This camp focuses on building foundational skills necessary for reading success. Campers will engage in play-based and multi-sensory activities to strengthen their phonological and phonemic awareness skills.

Who is this camp for? Activities are designed for children ages 6-9 who are just beginning their school journey or are requiring extra support.

Dates: July 7th - 10th 2025

Time: 2:30pm - 4:00pm (90 minutes)

Spectrum All-Stars

Led by SLP, Maddi Leier and PhysEd teacher Blake Fournier, this four-day camp is designed to bring children together through their love of sports. This camp is designed to help children enhance their verbal and nonverbal communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities while engaging in exciting sports activities. Camp will be held outdoors, weather permitting.

What Campers Will Learn:

  1. Effective Team Communication – Learn how to give clear instructions and encourage teammates.

  2. Confident Speaking Skills – Develop strong communication on and off the field.

  3. Leadership & Teamwork – Understand the power of positive communication in building team chemistry.

Who is this camp for? Activities are designed for children ages 7-10

Sound Squad: Speech Camp

Led by SLPs, Maddi Leier and Alison Behiel this four day camp is designed to support your child’s speech sound development in a fun and play based way all while being around peers working on similar goals!

Who is this camp for? This camp is designed for children ages 5-8 with speech sound errors. This camp will be of benefit if your child is motivated to imitate and practice their sounds. An informal assessment may be needed prior to camp to ensure proper placement and fit for camp.

Dates:

  1. CAMP 1: July 21st-24th 2025

  2. CAMP 2: August 11th - 14th 2025

Time: 9:30am - 10:30am

Game & Gab

Does you child love board games? Designed for neurodivergent kids in a supportive, affirming environment, this group blends the magic of gaming with the power of authentic connection. From classic strategy games to cooperative adventures, each session is packed with laughter, teamwork, and meaningful connection. Whether your camper is a board game expert or brand new to rolling the dice, they’ll find a space to learn effective group communication (i.e. advocacy, expression of emotions, instructing others, encouragement) all while having a blast!

Who is this camp for? There will be two groups, one for ages 5-7 and the other for ages 8-11

Dates: July 28th-31st 2025

Time: 10:00am (ages 5-7) & 1:00pm (ages 8-11)

Investment: $400.00

Spectrum Builders: Lego Group

Led by SLP, Emily Dueck, this four session group focuses on fostering collaborative play, executive functioning, communication, flexibility, and perspective taking through building Lego models together. Participants will have the opportunity to brainstorm ideas, put their plans into action, and take on different roles while creating their Lego models, all while working together in a small group. There will be two different offerings for children aged 7-9 and 10-12.

*This group is best suited for participants who are able to follow simple written and verbal instructions.

Dates: August 2025 (SLP will work with participants to find suitable dates)

Spectrum Sing-Along

Come join Spectrum in song this summer for our parent and child music group. Learn how to utilize language building strategies, such as encouraging initiation, following directions, expanding vocabulary, building gestalts, and supporting routines through music. This group is designed for those ages 6 and under. Should there be enough interest, a 3 and under group will also be created. 

Dates: July 3rd, July 17th, Aug 7th, Aug 21st, 2025

Connection Crew: Play Groups

Led by various Spectrum Speech-Language Pathologists, these group aim to bring neurodivergent children together through their shared passions! This is not a social skills group, but instead a group in which children can interact freely to develop natural friendships with others who share their interests.
